Small companies innovate, big companies operate. There's some truth in that saying. Before joining TeamSpirit, I was working in a large insurance company. While I learned a great deal there, I was stumped by the bureaucracy present in large companies. I began looking for smaller companies so that I can affect bigger changes. TeamSpirit was one such company. When I first joined, there were only 2 employees in our Singapore office: my manager and another colleague. The thrill of starting a team from scratch drew me in. We have since grown to 20 people. It has been a great experience so far.

"From those to whom much is given, much is expected". I first heard of this quote from Bill Gates commencement speech in Harvard. It has stuck with me since. A lot of things are beyond our control. When were you born? Who are your parents? Where did you grow up? None of us earned these things. These things are given to us. Thus, it's only fair that those who are the luckiest in all of these respects also have the greatest responsibility to give back and share their luck with others. 

We regularly publish blog posts on digital transformation and how to work better. We also have a youtube channel featuring interviews with prominent thought leaders. 

As my day job involves sitting long hours in front of a computer screen, I try to get away from electronics outside of work. I play badminton regularly on weekends. I also love walking in the nearby park whenever possible.
